Dan Marcotte has been teaching general music and band for over 20 years throughout the Chicago suburbs. He has taught at Elgin Academy, St. Scholastica in Woodridge, Quest Academy in Palatine, and St. James School in Arlington Heights. He has a masters degree in music, and years of experience as a performer and a songwriter as well. He plays piano, guitar, all of the band instruments, as well as a large number of folk, Renaissance, and Medieval instruments. He is a trained singer and conductor as well, and has directed both elementary and adult choirs for over 20 years.
