Amanda Studer teaches English/Language Arts for grades 6-8. She graduated in 2009 from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana. She began college convinced she was going to own a horse-training business, but quickly came to her senses and changed majors. She has worked as a Special Education Aide, a Substitute Teacher, and as a classroom Teacher for 3rd and 4th grade. She loves teaching Junior High students and teaching English is her passion, and she’s not ashamed to admit that she gets rather enthusiastic when it comes to teaching grammar.
Mrs. Studer has a young daughter whom she is teaching to love books as much as she does. On the weekend, she and her husband enjoy playing board games together. She also enjoys ballroom dancing, both competitively as well as performing in showcases, and her favorite activity on a Friday night is curling up on the couch with a book. She welcomes all conversations about teaching, learning, and English, so if you have a question or would like to chat, feel free to email or stop in for a visit!
