Mrs. Sullivan has been a member of St. Raphael Catholic School and Parish for 25 years.  While growing up in Peoria, IL the middle child of 8, her parents instilled a love of the Catholic faith in their family and were firm believers and active supporters of Catholic education.  Having benefitted from attending Catholic schools all of her life, she knew she wanted that same experience for her children.  She has 3 sons and 1 daughter, all of whom graduated from St. Raphael School.  Mrs. Sullivan graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  While raising their family she and her husband Dan became actively involved in volunteering at St. Raphael.  As her children graduated from St. Raphael School, she wanted to find a way to remain involved.  In 2005 she began coordinating the daily hot lunch program continuing until 2013.  During this time she began to substitute as an aide in the classrooms and she found working with the children and teachers a joy.  In 2011 Mrs. Sullivan received an IL substitute teachers certificate.  Then in 2013 she accepted a Teachers Aide position in the 3rdgrade.  In 2017 she moved to the 1st grade classroom.  In addition, Mrs. Sullivan is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, member of the plant watering committee and funeral luncheon committee at the church.  She enjoys reading, baking, cooking, traveling, playing cards, board games, and most of all spending time with her family.  St. Raphael has been a second home to her family and she feels truly blessed to be a part of providing that feeling of family and community to the students and their parents.
