Sr. Kathleen Gallagher: Resource Assistant

​Sister Kathleen Gallagher, OP comes to us with many years’ experience as a principal, assistant principal and teacher. She currently works in the resource department where she enjoys serving the needs of children of various grades. One of seven children born in Chicago, she met the Springfield Dominican sisters at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, IL. She has lived the consecrated life of a religious for many years, and now lives with three other Dominican sisters at St. Mary Convent in Aurora. Her favorite things to do are read, bake, sew, and write Scripture reflections for www.word.op.org. Her favorite places to be are public libraries and the shores of Lake Superior in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
