Mrs. Katie Watt: Math
Mrs. Watt is excited for the opportunity to teach at St. Raphael! She grew up in Naperville, where she attended and served at St. Elizabeth Seton. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Specialization in Mathematics K-9, Mrs. Watt taught for over ten years in District 204. During that time, she was an ACT math tutor and earned her Masters in Reading and Literacy from Lewis University.
Mrs. Watt took a break from teaching in the classroom to raise her children. She and her husband have a boy in high school and twin girls finishing elementary school. She taught Preschool for a couple of years when her twin girls went off to Kindergarten, and she teaches piano out of her home to this day. Mrs. Watt loves singing, playing piano, doing math puzzles, reading, water sports, and watching her children play sports and perform.
