Mrs. Nancy Murlick: Fourth Grade Teacher

Mrs. Murlick is a longtime St. Raphael parishioner and was also a St. Raphael School parent from 2013–2023. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1996 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and began her teaching career in the Archdiocese of Detroit before moving to the Chicago area, where she taught in the Maywood public schools. While raising her daughters, she stayed home with her family, volunteered on many St. Raphael committees, and worked as a private tutor for Naperville families. She is excited to return to the classroom in a place that already feels like home.

Mrs. Murlick brings a wealth of experience and a deep love for Catholic education. Her daughters graduated from St. Raphael School and continued their education at St. Francis High School. She often says there is something special about a Catholic education—you can’t always put your finger on it, but you know it’s there. She is passionate about meeting students where they are, helping them build confidence, and celebrating those rewarding “lightbulb moments” when learning clicks. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cheering on her younger daughter at softball games, visiting her older daughter in college, spending time in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, reading, baking, cooking, and dining out with her husband.
