Debbie James is a teacher assistant for grades K, 1 and 2. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Illinois University in Recreational Therapy and a Master’s Degree from Northern Illinois University in Elementary Education. She and her husband Brian have been parishioners at St. Raphael parish for over 20 years and have been active in many ministries. Debbie has 4 kids, all who have attended St. Raphael School. After taking some time off to raise her family, Debbie’s recent teaching experience includes working at several area preschools and work as a special education teacher assistant in District 203. This is Debbie’s second year working at St. Raphael School. Debbie’s hobbies include swimming, gardening, reading and visiting her college kids.
