Ms. Michelle Bourrillion: Librarian
Ms. Bourrillion is excited to be the new School Librarian at St. Raphael School. She received a Bachelor’s of Art Degree from Columbia College in Chicago with a focus on Television Production and Fiction Writing. She was an Illinois State Library Scholarship recipient which enabled her to earn her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science at Dominican University. She has always loved libraries and was a frequent patron at her local branch of the Chicago Public Library, while growing up. She began her library career working on the city’s North side, spanning over fourteen years and three different branches throughout her career there. She is currently a part time Children’s Librarian at Naperville Public Library at the 95th Street Library. She hopes to inspire a love for reading, libraries, and the pursuit of knowledge in the students at St. Raphael School.
Her family consists of three children who are all currently in college and working towards degrees in aviation, computer science, and theater. She enjoys studying the history and art of television and movie production and her hobbies include dance, writing, and of course, reading books!
